Little Gaddesden is a pretty village adjoining the woodland of Ashridge Forest, a former estate of Henry VIII and childhood home of Elizabeth I, in an area of outstanding natural beauty. 

The mainline station of Berkhamstead, and M25, M1, A41 are all easily accessible.
